Lexmoto XTR 125 Overview The Lexmoto XTR 125 is the perfect sporty entry bike for anyone who has just gained their licence. With a 125cc four-stroke engine you aren’t going to be eating up hundreds of miles any time soon but if you want to get your bearings on your own, either by commuting or by taking the bike out for short jaunts further afield then the XTR 125 will definitely tick the boxes. The XTR 125 handles itself well. It is lighter than other bikes of its size and although this does mean that it is occasionally difficult to take sharp corners, once you have the grasp of the bikes capabilities you shouldn’t have any major issues. The suspension isn’t anything to write home about but it is more than suitable for using on the roads of towns and cities with the occasional off-road journey thrown in for good measure as well. The bike is simply made; you don’t get a lot of extras with the Lexmoto models but with a price tag of just over £1000 it’s difficult to argue with. The XTR 125 is a decent bike which will get you where you need to go and at a fairly economic cost as well. If you are looking for a first-bike which can handle being thrown around and put through its paces and you don’t want to have to be constantly worrying about scratching the chassis then the XTR 125 is the ideal option. You can also often pick up fairly cheap second-hand Lexmoto bikes which might also be something to consider.
